Rains, thundershowers in UP, Etawah records maximum 42.6 deg C

Lucknow: Moderate to heavy rains and thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh even as Etawah recorded highest temperature of 42.6 degrees Celsius.

According to MET department, Maharajganj recorded 5 centimetres of rainfall while Ghazipur received 3 cm.

Light showers were also reported from Varanasi, Ballia, Dumariaganj and Shahjahanpur.

Etawah recorded the maximum temperature in the state at 42.6 degree Celsius.

Met department has forecast rains, thundershowers and dust storm at isolated places over the state tomorrow.
