Bhatkal brothers
Iqbal Bhatkal and Riyaz Bhatkal are the founding members of the banned terrorist outfit, Indian Mujahideen (IM). They have engineered a series of terror attacks across India, including Delhi, Bangalore and Ahmadabad serial blasts in 2008, then Varanasi’s Sheetla ghat attack and Pune’s German bakery blast in February 2010. Both, who hail from Bhatkal town of Karnataka, are prime suspects in carrying out the serial blasts.
