Duncan Fletcher, the former England coach and Zimbabwe captain, has been appointed India`s coach, ending weeks of speculation over who would succeed Gary Kirsten.
Duncan Fletcher would have to fill in the boots of World Cup winning coach, Gary Kirsten and that won’t be easy at all.
Sunil Gavaskar had raised objection over the appointment, putting forth the name of Mohinder Amarnath as the coach. According to Gavaskar, Most of the current crop of Indian players are from the Hindi speaking belt and Jimmy Amarnath would have been able to communicate with them better.
We at Zeecric.com would like to ask your opinion on Duncan Fletcher’s appointment as coach of team India.
