Sachin Tendulkar turns 40 today. Since making his debut in Tests against Pakistan in 1989, the Little Master has created a legacy of his own. He has been compared with several legends of the game.

Some have even suggested him to be the greatest ever batsman to have graced the game. This is Tendulkar’s 24th year in international cricket which in other words means he has spent over half of his life so far playing cricket at the highest level. Most of his contemporaries have retired but he is still going strong.
