Ronjan Sodhi, coming from a royal family of Sodhi Nagar,Ferozepur, Punjab, is an Indian trap shooter.

In 2011 he became the first Indian to defend a world cup title.

An Arjuna Awardee, Sodhi is currently ranked 10th by the International Shooting Sport Federation.

In his career span of 14 years, he has won two each of gold, silver and bronze in various world cups and he has two silver medals won at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games and a gold medal from Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games.

The 33-year old scored 183 hits in 2011 ISSF World Cup held at Beijing, China and won two things; a silver medal and an Olympic berth in double trap event.

TRIVIA
Sodhi has lost a lot of weight in the past few months to change his shooting stance for the London Olympics.
