Goa has grown at a drastic pace in the last decade. The GDP of Goa far outnumbers made by the total country alone and most of it is due to its tourism.

Tourism is Goa’s primary industry. Almost 12% of all foreign tourists are handled by this small state in India. Mining forms the second largest industry in Goa.

It is rich in deposits of iron ore, bauxite, manganese, limestone and silica.
