Punjab is a state that believes in ‘change’ as is evident by its 15-year track record of having changed the incumbent government every five years. This time too, the fight is bipolar - between the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janata Party combine and the Congress.

Though it is being widely speculated that the Congress will bounce back, but the road ahead is not going to be easy to say the least.
