No new radioactive source found in west Delhi scrap market

Nuclear experts have scanned hundreds of shops in a west Delhi scrap market but have not found any new radioactive source, the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) said on Saturday.

Police is yet to trace the origin of Cobalt-60, the radioactive material that caused serious injuries to six persons and are awaiting the recovery of the owner of the scrap shop from where it was found to get more clarity.

Malta-registered ship checked for radioactive material
