Govt still to decide on minority status to Jamia

Government is yet to take a view on the minority status to Jamia Milia Islamia, an issue which is pending before the National Commission for Minority Educational Institution (NCMEI).

All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) Wednesday demanded minority status in Jammu and Kashmir and asked the government to provide special benefits and relief to the `troubled` community in the state.
