Amarnath inducted into IPL GC

The BCCI on Friday inducted former Test cricketer Mohinder Amarnath into the reconstituted Governing Council of the Indian Premier League after Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi refused to be part of the revamped Council and to work as non-paid honorary members.

Mohinder Amarnath, who has been inducted on Friday in the current IPL Governing Council as the second former cricketer apart from Ravi Shastri, said his endeavour would be to ensure that the game remains a clean one free from any mess.
