The Rohtang Pass, closed for the last 25 days due to heavy snowfall, has been reopened for traffic thus facilitating movement between Kullu valley and Lahaul valley of Himachal Pradesh.

Rohtang pass, considered the gateway to the high-altitude Lahaul & Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, was today opened to traffic a little less than a month after its closure due to heavy snowfall.

The snow-bound Rohtang Pass in Himachal Pradesh`s Kullu district, closed since November 9, could be reopened in a day or two, said engineers Saturday busy clearing the 13,050 feet-high pass of snow.
