Just a day after Bombay High Court’s slapped seven years rigorous imprisonment on Shiney Ahuja for raping his domestic help, the actor plans to appeal against the directive of the apex court.

A Mumbai court today sentenced Shiney Ahuja to seven year in jail after he was found guilty of raping his maid. Shiney was accused of raping his domestic help at his Andheri West home June 14, 2009. The police, in a 109-page chargesheet, had charged Shiney with rape and wrongfully confining the victim. Shiney, in his defence, had argued that he was falsely implicated.
