Godrej Consumer Q1 net soars on one-time gain, international operations

Personal care products maker Godrej Consumer Ltd posted a 94 percent jump in April-June net profit, driven by a one-time gain, several acquisitions in the past year and steady volume growth that underpinned sales.

Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) on Saturday reported 94 percent growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 239 crore for the quarter ended June 30, following a strong demand in both domestic and international markets.
