KPLT c-in-c shot dead in encounter

The `commander-in-chief` of ethnic insurgent outfit Karbi People`s Liberation Tigers has been shot dead in an encounter with a joint police and Army team in Karbi Anglong district of Assam early this morning.

Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council member Narendra Killing was today shot dead by suspected Karbi People Liberation Tiger militants at Bokajan in Karbi Anglong district of Assam, police said.
