Nearly three-quarters of poultry and a small amount of beef and lamb meat sold as <i>halal</i> in the United Kingdom is labelled falsely, according to Naved Syed of the English Beef and Lamb Executive Halal Steering Group.

BJP councillors to stage protest if beef served during CWG

The ruling BJP in MCD on Thursday threatened that party councillors and workers will stage protests and picket before the Commonwealth Games committee office if beef is served during the event here in October.
