Bihar CM Nitish stresses on development of Muslims

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday stressed on uplift of minorities for developing the country and sought ammendments to the Multi Sectoral Development Programme (MSDP) to kick start it in the state.

Acting on the inquiry report of the principal secretary (Home) into the killing of a doctor in Gopalganj jail by inmates, Nitish Kumar ordered the transfer of Inspector General (Jail) and Gopalganj District Magistrate.
