The south-west monsoon would touch Mumbai during next 48 hours, Indian Meteorological Department said on Friday, predicting a normal monsoon with overall 98 per cent rainfall in the country this year.

The IMD had earlier predicted the date of June 03 for the monsoon onset with a model error of plus or minus four days.
