Six-year old`s noble act moves President

The imposing halls of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday seemed too small to match the noble deeds of six-year old Sarjana who presented a cheque of Rs 205 to President Pratibha Patil for the country`s relief fund.

IMF provides $100 mn aid to Haiti

The International Monetary Fund today announced a USD 100 million in emergency assistance to Haiti, where according to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tens of thousands of people are feared killed in the catastrophic earthquake that hit the country early this week.
