IT company HCL Technologies on Tuesday posted 43.3 percent jump in net profit to Rs 572.7 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

Shares of HCL Technologies Tuesday tanked nearly 10 percent on the bourses although the company posted a 50 percent jump, year-on-year, in net profit for the first quarter ended September 30.
