CBI registers case against MCD official for bribing sleuth

The CBI has registered a case against a junior engineer of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for allegedly offering a bribe of Rs six lakh to one of its sleuth probing a case against the civic body official.

A former Congress councillor has been sentenced to four years in jail by a Delhi court for taking Rs 10,000 as bribe from an MCD employee for getting his transfer cancelled.
