BCCI`s one time benefit likely for more players

The Cricket Board`s one-time benefit for players who had turned out for a specific number of domestic and international games before 2003-04 and retired is likely to be extended to a few more players who had played beyond the cut-off date, sources said on Wednesday.

The union home ministry Thursday said it has not received any request from the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) for a probe into the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot fixing scandal by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
