The head of hotel and tourism management department at an institute of Maharishi Dayanand University was on Monday shot at and critically injured by a youth in his office on the university campus.

The Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) today suspended an employee in connection with a case of issuing fabricated admit cards to five candidates who had not even enrolled for a course in the varsity, officials said.
