The VVPAT system was first experimented in the Noksen Assembly bypoll recently in Nagaland and Mizoram would be the first state where it would be introduced in a large scale, EC officials said.

Election Commission has instructed Mizoram election department to provide `None of the Above` (NOTA) option in EVMs in the December state Assembly polls.
