Bhanot opposes charges in CWG graft case

Former secretary-general of the Commonwealth Games (CWG)organising committee Lalit Bhanot Tuesday opposed in a Delhi special court the charges against him in a corruption case related to the 2010 sporting event held here.

A day after aspersions of unfair trial were cast on a special judge hearing a CWG graft case by a counsel for one of the accused, the District Judge on Friday said she would also hear the advocate to reach a conclusion.
