Happy to be out of UPA-2: Former minister

Former minister of state for external affairs and defence production and Gurgaon Congress MP Rao Inderjeet Singh Saturday said he was happy that he was not part of the cabinet in UPA-2.

Congress MP from Gurgaon Rao Inderjeet Singh on Monday resigned from the party. Singh’s exit from the party was expected after he had openly turned against his party chief and the Haryana government by demanding "a thorough probe" into the land deals of Vadra, party chief Sonia Gandhi`s son-in-law.

Congress leader and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjeet Singh`s supporters have applied for registration of their front as a political party, party sources said.
