EPFO appoints StanChart as custodian of securities

The Central Board of Trustees, the apex decision-making body of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Wednesday approved appointment of Standard Chartered Bank as the custodian of securities of the EPFO.

Accusing the Custodian of Enemy Properties of conniving with his tenants, Amir Mohammad Khan, the raja of the erstwhile princely state of Mahmudabad, Saturday termed the office a "hotbed of corruption".
