Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court on Friday asked the state government for an update on the vigilance investigation into the alleged financial irregularities detected following the construction of Khelgaon to host the 2012 National Games in Ranchi.
The bench of Chief Justice R Banumathi and Justice S Chandrasekhar asked the government to place before it the progress report of the probe into the alleged scam within three weeks.
Hearing a bunch of PILs, the bench also asked to complete the investigation within the next eight months.
