Kotdwar: A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her uncle in Prajapati area here.
The FIR lodged by the victim's father said the minor was raped by his younger brother last night while the rest of the family was asleep after Janmashtami celebrations.
The medical examination of the girl has confirmed rape, Kotdwar police station in-charge Anil Joshi said.
A search is on to nab the 27-year-old who is at large, Joshi said.
