Dehradun: Amidst tight security, voting for the first phase of three-tier Panchayat Elections for 19,083 seats in the state is underway, Tuesday.
The other two phases will be held on June 21 and 24.
The counting will take place on June 27.
Panchayat bodies in Uttarakhand completed their tenure in September last year, but elections could not be held on time due to the devastating floods in the state.
