India to provide artificial limbs to 1000 people in Afghan

Islamabad: A prayer leader has been arrested for allegedly trying to molest an eight-year-old girl in northwest Pakistan province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The incident happened yesterday in Chaihr village of Mansehra district, local media reported today. The prayer leader from the village lured the girl going to school to a mosque by offering her sweets.

Singer Zil-e-Huma dies in Pakistan

Lahore: Singer Zil-e-Huma, daughter of legendary singer Noor Jehan, died here today at the age of 70. She was suffering from various medical complications due to diabetes. Huma was being treated at the Doctors Hospital in Lahore where she breathed her last. Last week her leg was amputated to save her life.
