Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister N Chinna Rajappa Saturday said his government was trying to establish contact with ISRO and NASA to locate the bodies of 16 missing students who were swept away when water was released into the Beas river here without warning last week.

Even as a massive search for the missing engineering students from Hyderabad continues, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has now deployed an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and Multi-beam echosounders to trace the dead bodies and expedite the ongoing rescue work in the Beas river.
