NHRC notice to Punjab govt on social boycott of dalits in Sangrur

The National Human Rights Commission has taken suo motu cognizance of a media report that 105 families of Scheduled Castes have been facing social boycott by upper caste people in Baopur village of Moonak Sub-Division of District Sangrur, Punjab since May 15 of this year.
