Patna: In yet another blow to the Congress ahead of Lok Sabha elections, former Bihar party chief Mehboob Ali Kaiser will join Lok Janshakti Party-led by Ram Vilas Paswan.
Speaking to the media, Kaiser said that the Congress party members, who have been entrusted for selecting eligible candidates and distribution of tickets for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls are not doing their job properly.
The former Bihar Congress chief refused to name any particular member, but said that correct information is not being sent to the party high command.
Paswan last week returned to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and announced an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Lok Sabha elections.
The Congress and the RJD last week announced they had finalised an alliance to fight the Lok Sabha polls in Bihar, agreeing to contest 12 and 27 seats respectively, while the NCP will put up a candidate for the remaining seat from the state.
