Ranchi: The CPI Wednesday took a swipe at the renewed bonhomie between former Bihar Chief Ministers Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad saying "Mangal Raj hugging Jungle Raj".
"Mangal Raj has joined hands with Jungle Raj," senior CPI leader Atul Anjan said here when asked by reporters for his comments on the hug between the JD(U) and RJD leaders after nearly two decades.
Anjan was referring to Kumar's coming to power in Bihar eight years ago with the promise that he would uproot RJD's "Jungle Raj" and provide JD(U)'s "Mangal Raj (good governance)".
Kumar and Prasad were jointly campaigning for the bye-elections in Bihar.
