London: `The Mask of Zorro` star Antonio Banderas has been honoured in his native Spain.
The 52-year-old actor visited the country for the annual Easter festival in Malaga, and he was the guest of honour at a special ceremony, reported Independent online.
Locals appointed him Spanish Legionnaire of Honour at the Mena brotherhood procession.
His wife, actress Melanie Griffith, applauded her husband, who donned a special chapiri hat during the event.
