Cannes: A man was arrested after he fired a gun loaded with blanks during a live TV broadcast at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival on Friday. The incident occurred when actors Christoph Waltz and Daniel Auteuil were giving an interview to a French TV station.
The actors ran for covers from a beach-front set.
Reportedly, according to eyewitness, the bodyguards of the ‘Grand Journal’ jumped over the barrier and dragged the man to the floor. He is also believed to have had a dummy grenade in his hand.
The show resumed after the man was arrested and the situation was brought under control.
