London: Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley has signed to play a cancer sufferer, who falls in love with a fellow patient, in Josh Boone`s romantic drama titled ‘The Fault of Our Stars’.
The 21-year-old actress will play the role of Hazel Grace Lancaster in the film, an adaptation of John Green`s romantic best-seller about two cancer-stricken teenagers.
"Over 250 girls read the script, but it wasn`t until Woodley stepped in front of the camera that I truly saw Hazel for the first time. It was like lightning striking. I can`t wait for the rest of the world to see what I have," said Boone, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
