Mumbai: Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who is active on Twitter, believes the social media "encourages cowards" to express their feelings online.
"Social Media encourages cowards and haters to spout the most ugly things that they would never dare to say in real life to people face to face," Mahesh tweeted on Saturday.
On microblogging site Twitter, the veteran filmmaker has over six million followers.
