Los Angeles: TV actress Mayim Bialik, who has filed a lawsuit following her horrible car accident last August, has sought to clear up reports that the scary incident almost cost her a hand.
"I did not almost lose my hand," the star of `The Big Bang Theory` told E! News.
However, even after more than a year, she hasn`t fully recovered.
"I sustained significant injuries for which I am still recovering and will continue to be recovering," said the Emmy-nominated actress.
When asked how she is doing, she answered "it`s alright".
"I`m aware of it every day not being one hundred percent," she said. "At least it wasn`t my face torn open," she added.
The lawsuit was filed against the other driver and Hertz Rent-a-Car.
