Bollywood stars statues in Madame Tussauds draw huge crowd

London: Wax models of Bollywood superstars in London`s Madame Tussauds have drawn huge crowd, especially the Indian community living abroad. Hundreds of people throng the museum to catch a glimpse and click photographs with their favourite celebrities.

Officials of the Madame Tussauds said that over the years, the museum has witnessed an increase in the number of Indian crowd. Over the last few years, the inclusion of wax statues of Bollywood celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan have indicated how Indian films and culture has had an effect on people.

The wax model of batsman Sachin Tendulkar also drew huge crowd, apart from Nobel peace prizewinners like former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela and Tibetan spiritual leader, Dalai Lama.
