Mumbai: If you were waiting with baited breath to see a fresh onscreen pairing, then this news might put an end to your earnest quest.
Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor have reportedly been roped in for an English film titled ‘Finding Fanny’.
The film in question will be produced by Dinesh Vijan and will be directed by Homi Adajania. ‘Being Cyrus’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia and Naseeruddin Shah marked the emergence of a fine filmmaker in the form of Homi.
Vijan, Adajania and Padukone had earlier teamed up for Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Cocktail’ that helped the Bangalore lass prove her acting prowess.
Deepika, who made her foray into the world of Bollywood in 2005 with ‘Om Shanti Om’, will get the opportunity to display her acting skills along with ‘Ishaqzaada’ Arjun. The son of producer Boney Kapoor has plump projects in his hand and has already shot for films like ‘Gunday’ and ‘Aurangzeb’.
The two young actors have a lot to explore in terms of their fine talent and thus can broaden their horizons.
