Mumbai: Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who has made a mark for herself in Bollywood with movies like ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’, says she wants to play legendary actress Rekha`s role from her 1988-released film ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’.
Sonakshi also says that it would be amazing to remake the film now.
"Rekha`s character in `Khoon Bhari Maang` is one role which I would like to play. It would be amazing to remake it now. It`s like a girl taking revenge and it`s not negative though," Sonakshi said.
Directed by Rakesh Roshan, ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’ was the story of a woman who takes revenge on her husband for trying to kill her. The film also featured Kabir Bedi, and Sonakshi`s father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha.
The actress says she is ready to experiment with her roles if she believes in it.
"If a role comes to me and if I believe that I would be comfortable portraying, I would love to do it. My father started off with a negative role and then he became a hero so why not. I would like to do something like that but I should like the script," she said.
