Mumbai: A man filed a case of non-cognisable offence against an unidentified person today for damaging his Mercedes car, also alleging his neighbour actor Aditya Pancholi`s role in the incident, the police said.
An officer at Versova police station said that Bhaskar Patel`s educationist son Bhargav Patel`s vehicle was parked below Magnum Opus society, when an unidentified person allegedly threw a heavy gunny bag on the vehicle from the terrace of the four-storey building, damaging the rear glasses of the vehicle.
No one witnessed the incident, though a non-cognisable offence has been registered against an unidentified person, but the complainant mentioned Pancholi`s name as a suspect in his statement.
The Versova police said that they are investigating the matter.
The police said that earlier, Pancholi had allegedly assaulted Bhasker`s son after a minor dispute and the latter had filed a case against the actor at Versova police station.
