New Delhi: While many in Bollywood would like to believe that rumours and controversies are part and parcel of their profession, Priyanka Chopra opines differently. The lady has admitted that rumours do bother her and affect her adversely.
Speaking to a popular news channel, Priyanka said, " If the rumours are true then I laugh and say I am in trouble. Otherwise, they affect me a lot. There is a lot of malice and opinions that drive a story now. We are also daughters, sisters, friends, and have people whom we have to face. So, journalists should write about us responsibly,"
Priyanka is currently promoting `Gunday` which releases on Valentine`s Day and is her first big release this year. Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor are the other lead actors in the movie.
In the aforementioned movie, Priyanka plays Nandita, a cabaret dancer of the 1970 era. Both Bikram and Bala are in love with the young lass. Critically acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan also plays a key role in the movie written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra.
The film will also be released simultaneously in Bengali with full Bengali songs composed by Bappi Lahiri.
