Washington, March 26: ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ director Danny Boyle will be the leading member of the jury at the Shanghai Film Festival.
The Oscar-winner filmmaker told a news agency that he had never been on a fest jury before.
Boyle also revealed his plans to make a flick in China.
"When you have a city that is full of people and stories like Mumbai, Beijing or Shanghai, it`s just so much excitement and potential for a filmmaker. It`s like a dream come true," a magazine quoted him as saying.
The Shanghai fest, which runs from June 13-21, will include more than 600 features.
As many as 200 shorts have already been submitted to the fest committee.
