London: Johnny Depp has admitted he is still "very close" to Vanessa Paradis, and hopes they can work together in the future.
The Hollywood heartthrob split from the French beauty last year after 14 years together. They have two children, Lily-Rose and Jack.
The 50-year-old actor admitted to British newspaper the Sun that the split had been difficult, but insisted that the most important thing is to protect the kids, to be with them as much as possible to help them grow.
Depp insisted that there are no hard feelings between them and he is certain he can convince Paradis, whom he left for bisexual actress Amber Heard, to make a movie with him.
He also showed he`s still full of admiration for his ex, calling her a good mother and a wonderful woman.
