New Delhi: Actor-anchor Shekhar Suman, who has turned director with ‘Heartless’, has completed the filming of his maiden project.
"The shooting is over and the post-production has started in full swing," said a source.
‘Heartless’ is a medical thriller, about a mother-son bond, where the son needs a heart transplant.
The film stars Shekhar`s actor son Adhyayan Suman as well as Deepti Naval and Om Puri.
Shot in Dubai and Mumbai, the film will release this year.
‘Heartless’ is Shekhar`s tribute to his late son Aayush. He lost his son to congenital heart disease.
Shekhar has worked in TV shows like ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ and ‘Wah Janab’, he also hosted c chat show ‘Movers & Shakers’ for Sony.
On the big screen, he was seen in films like ‘Utsav’ and ‘Sansar’.
