His father is a Christian architect from Kerala, and mother, Phiroza Irani is a Zoarastrian Parsi. He studied in Bombay Scottish School and graduate in Economics from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. He was working as a media planner, when he got a chance to model in the place of an absent model. He became pretty successful, but got his real break on coming second in the Gladrags Manhunt International, 1999.
His revolutionary looks, macho body, baby smiles, and nice character made him the highest-paid supermodel in India. This helped him make a noticeable debut in Bollywood in 2003, in the feminist centered Jism. Next year, he appeared in a negative role in the hit Dhoom. He has starred in 24 movies, and two are due in line.
