Quick bio: Robert Pattinson is currently the heartthrob of women across the world after his vampire movies went on to be a superhit. Robert Pattinson rose in popularity after he won the role of Edward Cullen in the movie adaptation of the wildly successful young adult novel, Twilight.

The actor was born to Clare and Richard Pattinson. His mother worked for a modelling agency whereas his father imported vintage cars. He has two elder sisters - Lizzy and Victoria. He attended Tower House School and Harrodian School and when he was 15, he started acting in amateur plays with the Barnes Theatre Company. Later, he took screen role like Ring of the Nibelungs (2004) (TV) (Kingdom of Twilight) as Giselher.

In 2003, the actor was noticed in his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). Since then the actor has not looked behind. His role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight (2008/I) films has won him worldwide recognition. A remarkable guitarist and pianist, the actor loves to compose music. He features in the two songs of the Twilight soundtrack: ‘Never Think’, which he co-wrote with Sam Bradley, and ‘Let Me Sign’, which was written by Marcus Foster and Bobby Long.
