Amrood ki Launji

Try out this tempting recipe made with fresh guavas.

Ingredients:

4 guavas,
1tbsp ghee,
1/4tsp kalongi,
1/4 tsp asafoetida,
1tsp mustard seeds,
1tsp saunf ,
1tsp green chili paste,
1tsp ginger paste,
salt to taste,
2 tbsp sugar,
1/4tsp kalongi,(onion seeds)
1/4tsp methidana
1 tsp black pepper powder,
1tsp roasted cumin powder,

Procedure:

Peel and deseed the guavas. Cut into wedges. Heat ghee in a pan. Add 1/4tsp kalongi,(onion seeds), methidana 1/4tsp asafoetida, mustard seeds, and chilli and ginger pastes. Add the guavas wedges. Stir for a minute. Add sugar,salt,1/2cup of water and mix well. Cook till it is soft stirring occasionally. When it is soft, add black pepper powder, saunf and roasted cumin powder .Mix well and serve immediately
